I’ve been sitting on my review for a while. I think this book was a little overhyped for me. It’s not that it was bad, I just don’t think it was for me. I think it was really well written, where it was  in depth and at points lyrical with its writing . With that though it seemed to drag out and become repetitive. I also just couldn’t connect to any of the characters what so ever and I think that has to be partly why this book wasn’t for me. I wanted to feel more connected to these characters but they felt sort of one dimensional at points and I just ended up not caring for any of them.  I read this with a book club and if I hadn’t I think I would’ve dnfed it.
