The Diary of a Young Girl
by Anne Frank
This book is often praised as the perfect Holocaust novel, but my Holocaust literature class revealed otherwise. Otto Frank and others heavily edited the diary to remove key pieces of the book to make it easier for the public to digest. One of the things that is more infuriating is the lack of finger-pointing toward the Germans. I think Anne was a fantastic writer, but I don't believe that this book tells the story as she would've wanted.
