It was a solid thriller, good but not the best. I listened to he audiobook, the narrator did well with the male voices but the female ones, not so much. I kept confusing Linda and Shauna as well as all the police guys...
The first half dragged a bit, but I was glad to have pushed through. The twists were pretty good and the explanation wrapped up well enough considering how convoluted the whole thing was. And I loved how much the MC had loved his wife.
The ending felt like a movie end not a book one, with this action packed scene followed by a domestic lovey one. The author outright told us we don't get to find out the secondary characters fates - which would be fine if their stories weren't purposely woven into the plot. I didn't care about his bff's and sisters marriage but Tyrese was my favourite and I wish we found out what he decided to do.
