I was curious! Had to check it out. I'm honestly not sure how to rate this book lol it was just okay to me.

All in all, this was somewhat of a fun time. I loved the consensual nature of the relationship. The dragon was surprisingly really sweet.

This was my first monster romance so perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree, but the plot was lacking for me. I loved the start of the story, I was interested in the world building, but there wasn't much of it. About 50% into the story it became a smut fest - which is fine if you're into that - but there wasn't enough plot to keep my interest. I found myself skimming a lot towards the end.

I was also hoping for a bit more resistance from the FMC. The whole story takes place over 1 month, so it felt very instalove to me. I think if the book was drawn out over a longer time and if there was more push and pull, more build up, I would have liked it a lot more.

By far my biggest problem was the breeding kink. It was just NOT enjoyable for me.

Not sure I would be interested in reading more monster romance after this experience, but I would be willing to give it another shot.
