Something Blue
by Emily Giffin
This is a sequel to a book I read over a year ago. The first one was from the point of view of Rachel, and this book is from the point of view of Darcy. I really like how they switched it, so you could see the situation from both sides. However, even when reading the first one, I never was really on Rachel's side. I realize both best friends did some bad things in their lives, and to each other, but Rachel's betrayal seemed the worst, and she just goes on the whole entire first book making excuses. She was never the type of person I would like. So now we have Darcy, the pretty, charmed one. I don’t like what she did either. But I still like her better out of the two. She really does grow up and mature over the course of the book, and I think becomes the better person, and someone I would get along with. Some things didn’t make so much sense, and ended up a little too well tied, but overall, good book.
