Made For You
by Renee Harless
It’s kind of a meet cute beginning in Made for You for Aurora Easterly and Talon Beckett when she lands at his feet in a Miami hotel and it’s not because she’s been bowled over by his charming personality. Talon actually looks like a survivor from a shipwreck when he sends her flying and just walks aways. A year later and it’s a case of deja vu when Rory is back at the same hotel for another teacher conference only this time Talon is virtually unrecognisable all suited up and acting CEO of Wilder Hotels with a proposal to put to Rory. This book was an easy read with engaging characters and plenty of spice as Talon and Aurora enter a marriage of convenience. They were definitely a grumpy/sunshine match with Talon scowling his way through the book at everyone except for Rory who seemed to be the only one other than his grandmother or Gigi that he showed his soft side to …… well perhaps her nieces as well when he played ‘beauty salon’ with them where he was the model. He struggled a bit with her close family as, after the death of his parents he’d had a toxic upbringing with his mother’s family, and he saw what he could’ve had while Aurora turned out to be a character with hidden depths. On the surface she appeared to be the wholesome schoolteacher, so it was a surprise to find out she’d been a bit of a wild child in her younger days and so despite being complete opposites between them, there was fabulous chemistry, and I loved the development of their relationship even though it was a little fast. Now I just need more Dean and Rory does have one single sister left so who knows …….
