OMG! This book was so good!! I seriously could not put it down! Roselle is a strong, independent, and super smart girl. She is a secondborn, which means she holds no power and has to be a soldier for all of the firstborns...like her brother. Her mother hated her because she was a secondborn, her brother is weird and weakminded, and her father was basically a no-show in her life until the end of the book (and he barely acknowledges her!!!). DASLFMDLSAMFAL! Her family was just annoying to me but it made me love her character even more because you get to see what she had to deal and live with all of her life. AND YET her family, mostly her mom, has been trying to kill her since the beginning of the book but boy does she have a few tricks up her sleeves because there's a huge following that want her alive. I seriously cannot wait to read the next book, traitor born.
