Fine Tuned: A Fake Dating Sports Romance Novella by Annmarie Boyle

2.0

It’s been a long time since I’ve hated a main character so much, but Jessica McWilliams is one of the most annoying, abrasive, and aggravating women I’ve encountered in this genre. She is enslaved to her past in a way that is extremely unhealthy and she’s an ass to her family when they try to help her.
In addition the way she treats Mick, who is a saint compared to her, is really gross. I genuinely couldn’t like her less if I tried.

Otherwise, the story is good. The other characters are likable. The plot line is fine and would’ve worked fine even with a slightly tolerable main character.
