When Forty Blooms by Jacinta Howard
3.0

I really enjoyed this take on turning forty. Forty Blooms is about second chances, soul-searching, healing from past trauma and helping children overcome current trauma. It’s wild how the author depicted that unhealed wounds can shape people for life, and I really enjoyed that she had the MFC talk about that throughout the book. I also enjoyed how the author included positive actions to help take care of oneself. Jacinta Howard did an impeccable job depicting how life can have highs and lows and how to take care of oneself. All in all, it was a great book, and I highly suggest people pick this one up.

The narration by Wesleigh Siobhan was very well done. I was completely engaged in this audio the entire time.

Thank you NetGalley for this ALC in exchange for my honest review.
