So many delicious turns of phrase! This one’s necessary if you love books. Roger does ramble on a bit in places, but this has all the same charm, and a more convoluted but fun plot than I recall from the Parnassus.
My only complaint is that I read it on Hoopla and it kept resetting to page one, sometimes even while I was reading!
