The Glass Kingdom by Lawrence Osborne
3.0
Good read, maybe not his best. The description of Bangkok and the specific setting is quite good, but after some time the story gets bogged down in that. When the plot does make its first big turn, the book picks up. I liked the omniscient narrator to see how everyone is seeing each other and what they are hiding. Some good turns and satisfying ending. His cultural observations are spot on so that adds to the enjoyment for anyone who's spent a lot of time in Bangkok/Thailand.
