I was wondering if this would live up to the hype and it did! This was a tough read at spots, especially with what's going on in the world currently, so I do recommend checking content warnings.
This is a beautifully written look at death, something inevitable for all, but it pegs the question, Can there be a good, useful death?
Cyrus' struggle to understand the meaning of life and death in the wake of losses in his life takes him on a journey of self discovery woven in the tapestry of his loved one's stories. This novel was incredibly thought provoking, full of heart, and I couldn't put it down.
