Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes

one of the best fantasy book i’ve ever read |

there are so many things happened on this book, let alone the vast list of characters in the book, so i totally understand that some people might find this a little bit confusing but i think if you take it slowly, not rushing into knowing all of the information being thrown to you, everything will make sense and you’ll get the hang of the story. also, having a reading guide for this book enchanced my reading experience |

the world building is superb. it’s so massive, which makes me realize that it is just the tip of an iceberg, and there’s so much more to come. i can’t wait to see where the story will take us. i love reading lore, so this totally hooked me |

i really love this book because it’s different from other fantasy books. unlike most fantasy books, the main characters aren’t the usual heroes. it doesn’t give you that ‘chosen one’ vibe. instead, it follows the story of the supporting characters, which i think will be important in the next books. it feels like you’re getting a really detailed look at the story, and that makes me feel more connected to the book |

anomander rake. you are the superstar of this book |

“too many regrets. lost chances - and with each one passing the less human we all became, and the deeper into the nightmare of power we all sank.”
