They Never Learn
by Layne Fargo
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book, is a top 5 for me this year!
It kept me on my toes, it was a thought-provoking thriller that masterfully connected the lives of two compelling women. Dr. Scarlett Clark, an English professor with a dark secret, and Carly Schiller, a freshman navigating the difficulties of college life. They are brought together in a narrative that is both chilling and empowering.
The dual POV's keep the plot engaging, with each chapter revealing new layers of intrigue and suspense. The themes of revenge, justice, and empowerment are handled extremely well, making this more than just a typical thriller.
This is a story that will stay with you long after the final page, like it has me.
