I am a sucker for a greek myth retelling, and this one does not disappoint. This was the first book I ever read by Eris Adderly, and it set the tone for me. I've enjoyed everything I've read form her since, but this book holds a special place in my heart.
The myth of Persephone and Hades has always drawn me in. It was such nuance... is Hades a villian or something else? Does he free Persephone by taking her? Do I just want to see good in bad? LOL Whatever the case, I won't spoil this for you but this is not your classic greek myth, but if you enjoy darker erotic stories and mythology, you -will- enjoy this.
