Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

okay. i suppose i liked this book, but that’s really it. it was all tell and very little show, super fast paced. it felt unnecessary to switch between so many povs. the switch from enemies to lovers was wayyy too sudden and unbelievable. the ending left a lot to be desired. it just felt wayy to close to harry potter fanfiction. i’m giving it 3 stars because at least it was a page turner with lots of cute moments and likable characters.. i also feel confused because it felt more YA but isn’t advertised as such? meanwhile some YA books i’ve read lately are so much more advanced both in writing level and content (think, the darkness outside us).
