Cute Christmas Romance
I enjoyed this short romance story set during the Christmas season. One of my favorite things this time of year is gobble up short Christmas romance stories. This novella hit the spot.
What I particularly enjoyed is Abi's realness. She's self-deprecating and has a wonderful sense of humor about herself and life. Abi, a single woman with all the attendant dating woes some singles must endure, is dumped into the role of temporary mom to her niece and nephew when her younger sister has to dash off on an important errand. Stuck taking care of two children, one still in nappies, when she's had ZERO experience, Abi does her best. I thought it was rather admirable. But I wondered why Jacob found her attractive, considering she described herself as having not showered for three days!
