I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You
by Ally Carter
I guess the romance is suppose to be part of the appeal, but I don't like how stereotypical it is. Same old teen-flick story. Meet, fall in love, fall behind in other responsibilities, eventually break up, apologize, make up.
I do like that they didn't ever actually get back together, and I like the characters and all of that, but I hate that it eventually becomes a romance story. The school itself is good, and I like the plot and stuff, but I think that it would be better if only there was a bit more action or an actual enemy.
All she was ever freaked out about was a few guys, and a death-scare with her friend's dad.
