Terrific, sexy romp through 17th century Europe. The characters are delightful, and as their predicaments become more and more ridiculous, the overarching love story holds everything together with humor and heart. As a history nerd, I especially appreciated the author's note at the end detailing the real-life inspirations for some of the settings and adventures the characters experienced. Greatly looking forward to reading the next one.
