This is on the same level as the silent patient for me, but it is a VERY different book despite the same genre. I wouldn't call the entire book a thriller, but the multimedia aspect brings in suspicion and just overall weirdness very early on. I still don't know what to believe, and my brain is slightly broken. Once you get into it this book is addictive. I was so drawn to the story and kept wanting more and hoping to understand. It is definitely disturbing which I loved, but be sure to look up the trigger warnings if you need to. Every single character felt so real and dynamic, especially Josie and Alix. I'll be thinking about this book for a long time. It wasn't revolutionary, but it was thrilling and it makes your brain work.
