Something Borrowed by Lily Morton

5.0

I'm starting to think that it's impossible for Lily to write a book that I won't absolutely adore. I fell in love with Rafferty in the previous book, however brief he appeared in it, and that love only grew in this one. His and Stan's story is so beautiful and sweet and a great example of a friends-to-lovers romance done perfectly.

I also loved seeing Joe again, because he's amazing. And I loved Stan's attitude towards life in general and how he didn't let being blind stop him from wanting to live life to the fullest. He's so sweet and kind and he deserved the best. But so did Rafferty. He has such a big heart that he likes to hide away to keep from getting hurt and I just wanted to wrap him in blankets and cuddle him. He and Stan are absolutely perfect for each other, without a doubt.

If I had to nitpick, I'd say that I'd have liked to see more of Rafferty and Stan actually being together as a couple. The situation with Bennett dragged on a tad too long. But it's really just a nitpick.

Another amazing book by the fabulous Lily Morton. No doubt I'll revisit it many times in the future just like I have with all the others.
