I wanted to love Truthwitch so much (I even own a signed copy that came in my January Uppercase box), but I ended up marking it as D.N.F. 55% of the way through.
I hated our main characters. For me, they had no redeeming qualities. This book was also plot-less. The plot is basically two girls running from various people because one of them is special.

There was also absolutely no world-building. Why are Iseult’s people hated? What are the terms of this peace treaty and how can it be broken? What on earth am I supposed to be imaging setting-wise? How do people become thread-siblings? What are the void and the aether? What do these wells have to do with magic? etc.

Overall, Truthwitch was a disappointing D.N.F.
