This is a great end to the Kane Chronicles series. There are still some issues of rehashing stuff from previous books, but that doesn’t make it too much less enjoyable. There are some hard hitting moments and the lead up to the final battle and the battle itself are very well written with a lot taken into account.

This book has the funniest and my favorite way to solve a love triangle with Walt hosting Anubis and it would only work in this universe.

The ending is left open for more and we do have some side adventures already written, but I will love if Rick Riordan returns to these character more in the future.
