Cazadora by Romina Garber

3.0

After Lobizona, the expectations were high for Cazadora. However, this novel fails to meet the expectations- it doesn't even come close honestly. The storytelling is disjointed and the magic system makes little sense. Unfortunately, the characters that readers fall in love with in the first book become archetypical and lack depth, bordering on annoying.

At times, I felt like I was reading an unedited version of the book- that is how unpolished it is. The series is touted as a duology, and to the surprise of readers, the story is not finished and is left open for new editions. I gave my rating a bump because of the important representation it presents for undocumented communities.
