His at Night by Sherry Thomas
4.0
Not your typical HR, at least not ones I’ve read. This is my second Sherry Thomas HR novel and I find she writes complex characters and premises. The romance is there but it’s hovering in the background weaved intricately into the seams of the plot. But as with any HR, it will always end in some HEA.
There were plenty of hilarious moments as Vere played the village idiot. The beginning of the book was light and filled with humor but things start to get serious as both main characters became married and the reality of that marriage started to sink in.
