Love & Luck by Jenna Evans Welch

3.0

This is a delightful and heartwarming tale of love, forgiveness, and self-discovery. Set against the stunning backdrop of Ireland, Welch weaves a captivating story filled with humor, romance, and emotional depth.

The honest and realistic way in which the author captured sibling love and fighting made the book so much more interesting to read. Following brother and sister duo as they try to put aside their differences for a small trip together only for the trip to change it’s course completely. They go on an adventure of both discovery, forgiveness and adventure through the Irish country side, along with a friend as they repair their broken hearts.

I think the love in this story refers to the sibling love rather than the romantic kind as the book focused more on their journey through Ireland, making stops according to their handbook and what had already been predicted. There’s a certain charm to the story which made it heartfelt and true.

Suddenly, I’m booking tickets to Ireland.
