I think the plot could be interesting if it was executed differently. There was no tension in the romance. The two protagonists were both basically obsessed with each other the first time they met on like page 40. She was also a virgin but acting like a porn star with him the whole time?
Like the main character experiences a devastating loss and then is fucking the dude’s brains out like 5 minutes later
And the sex scenes are super un-sexy. The author uses words like “cavern” for mouth, “mounds” for tits, and “globes” for ass. Overall, the spice is wattpad level writing. The narration is middle grade level or below. It was hard to picture a lot of what was being described, and so much of the book was cliche.
”A single tear ran down his face as he looked back at her.” bro, give me a break. “Pa gave me exactly the money I need to pay for the estate, and he has MORE! We were dead poor but now we’re suddenly millionaires!”
it was shit like that that made it hard to read. Everything was handed to them, or everything was unrealistic in a way that pulled me from the story.
