I was wondering what to rate this because I don't want to give out 5 stars easily but I was freaking hugging and kissing the book at the end and wanted to cry because I loved it so much lol. idk what I was questioning.

but seriously I didn't think I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. it was a pleasant read at the end or the middle of the day that always made my mood or made me relax.

  • I freaking love Bilbo!! he's relatable and funny and sweet and smart and so so so lovable!!
  • This book just warmed my heart <3
  • because I didn't know what happened at the end I was surprised that things didn't end up the way I thought they would. at first I didn't know what to feel about the way everything was resolved, especially concerning the dragon, but I actually love it!
  • I definitely enjoyed the second half more than the first and it's evident from the amount of tabs on each half lol.
  • I thought that I wasn't gonna give this 5 stars because of how long the journey was to get to the Lonely Mountains but it just all becomes worth it at the end. it really felt like I was on the journey with them. idk why I would think that way because my favourite movie is treasure planet and that movie's main point is that it's the journey that matters and not the destination or what material things you gain from it.

I'm gonna be reading the Lord of the rings for the first time soon and I'm really excited about it now!!
