It's a classic and I know a lot of people love it but dear god that was a chore for me to get through. Alice was annoying, the story made no sense at all, I'm probably too dumb to understand the entire thing but I let out a breath of relief when I was done. I wanted to finish it because I bought it and I don't like leaving things unfinished. If not for that I definitely would've stopped after the first part, probably sooner.

Giving it one star feels wrong somehow, so the second is for the illustrations or something.
