A Most Malicious Messenger by Katherine Black
4.0
Set in an English village full of quirky and lovable characters this mystery was an enjoyable and fun read. I really did not expect the ending.
May is in her bookshop when everyone in the store receives an anonymous message that seems to be a twisted Shakespeare quote that is revealing a secret. When the subject of the message turns up dead May and her friend Fletcher start to ask questions especially when another message is received. The stakes are raised when Fletcher is attacked after being the subject of a message. Meanwhile May is also dealing with her mother, Minty, who wants May to kill her but when she is the subject of a message Minty might just get her death wish. Who is sending the messages? Will May and Fletcher figure it out before someone else dies?
Thanks to the author and Love Book Tours for providing a copy of the book for my honest review.
