A beautifully illustrated and thought-provoking children’s book that tells a hopeful story about what’s important in life during challenging times. Cleverly told from Planet Earth’s perspective, this book brilliantly tells the tale of a difficult time that we have all experienced – the COVID-19 pandemic. This is an essential read for anyone who needs a little comfort right now (adults included) and a reminder that we should look up from our phones and connect with the people and the planet around us in whatever way possible! I think it’s so important to talk to children about what’s happening in the real world so they can process how they are feeling but sometimes it’s difficult to find the words or strike the balance; Hannah has done this brilliantly! This book will instil in young people the importance of community, connection and togetherness and finding joy in small places. Highly recommend! :)
