Pros: short, fast read. Started out fine. The cover. Love books about female friendships
Con: the story. The writing. The ending. The podcast parts.
This needs way more character development. Making your characters weird or quirky is not a substitute for making them well-rounded. The quirks got old really fast. None of crime solving made any sense. The whole thing had problems. The beginning started out promising and overall, the characters could have been likeable, but the execution fell way too flat for me to care at all about any of it.
