Overall I enjoyed this book with complex world building and interesting magical powers. The relationship between Belial and Eligos was really nuanced and well done, and the romantic story line of Lioria completing them was similar to other menage books I've read. I liked the mystery around Lioria's effect on the demon lords and all the different people they meet. The world building was interesting, and revealed in an organic way, and the romance was both sweet and sexy in a very satisfying way. My biggest issue is that the story ended on a pretty major cliffhanger, and as of 2023 the series isn't finished, so be aware before reading. I still recommend this series for fantasy romance fans, but I might wait until there are a few more books in the series before picking up book 2 myself.
