OMG. OMG. OMG. OMG. I never thought that I'd really love this memoir. Giving it was becoming quite sensational through the release last year. I'm not very much Britney Spears' fans whatsoever, I barely listen to her songs because I don't really enjoy her voice. But I very much know her images, her "name" and her trends all over the world at early 2000s.
What I know about her before this book is.. Britney is a huge pop star with a huge big-ass controversies and mental health problems.
But after I read this book, I know now... She's just a victim of family (and boyfriend) abuse.
Man, this book is inspiring. What an insightful and shocking read. Reading this feels like reading an old teenage diaries. Raw and pure. All she wants is love and peace from the people who close to her. But, as you know, the celebrity's life isn't much as smooth as feathers.
This book also makes me angry. Angry at the people who supposed to become her "safe haven", her family. FUCK THEM ALL.
Reading this book not only I have the biggest "TEA" from the world famous pop singer. But also inspired me to become a strong woman and also a mother. Her struggle wanting to fight the sexism and toxic masculinity from the sight of her industry was....motivating.
MUST READ.

"And then, through the fear, I remembered that there were still things I could hold on to: My desire for people to understand what I’d been through. My faith that all this could change. My belief that I had a right to experience joy. My knowledge that I deserved my freedom."

"I feel like a lot of women—and this is definitely true of me—can be as strong as they want to be, can play this powerful role, but at the end of the day, after we’ve done our work and made our money and taken care of everyone else, we want someone to hold us tight and tell us everything’s going to be okay."
