Thanks Wicked Reads for a free book to read and review. OMG that cover is so damn fine..... I could lick it! Rawr! Exciting read, suspenseful, and a huge cliffhanger ending. Marcus has to marry or lose everything.... But why is he so cold? Katia pissed me off a lot in this book, the girl must be wearing sneakers she was running so much. For these two the sex seemed to work though, they had it in tangents. Lol. Still I enjoyed the plot, and my overall entertainment was four stars.
I think part two will have a lot of explaining to do because I have so many unanswered questions. I understand the clause the grandfather put in his will. Marcus needs to marry or has to lose everything he worked hard for. No one expects to lose.... And Katia couldn't be more perfect for him had the grandfather not hand picked her himself. Marcus was definitely wrapped up in his work, and he was very cunning...even deadly. But why? What's the story. I have read a few jokers MC books but for some reason Marcus is not jumping out at me. If you have a spin off from an original series add his story because I forgot. They had passion, and he still refused to open up... It hurt my rating to be just left hanging. I would definitely read book two!
