desiree_mcl 's review for:
Poison Princess
by Kresley Cole
3.5 stars.
I actually had a fairly long review half way done but I either accidently deleted or it didn't save properly. Either way it's gone.
So in short, the first 200 pages were a bit slow going. That section was 3 stars. The last 170 pages really picked up and I couldn't stop reading. That section was 4 stars.
I liked Evie and Jackson but they also annoyed me at times. I don't like Selena but I like/find interesting to read the strife she causes.
Arthur was a creepy character. I figured out fairly early that
I wish that at least one of Evie's friends
Overall this was a fairly good introduction, there were some problems but nothing that has sworn me off the series. I'm interested in seeing where KC takes this series.

Evie was setting him up in some way. So it was nice to have that confirmed at the end.I wish that at least one of Evie's friends
Spoiler
from the beginning of the book would have stayed alive through the Flash. I was rooting for Mel to survive but with Evie saying ashes were in Mel's car I don't see it being too likely.Overall this was a fairly good introduction, there were some problems but nothing that has sworn me off the series.
