I really like learning about the stories behind songs and this book gives you a nice look at the inspiration behind some of Sara's songs as well as the writing process she went through for them. It deepened my appreciation for the songs I already new and turned me onto other songs by her that I have not heard before. If you can, I highly recommend listening to the audio book version of this. Not only does Sara read it herself, but she sings part of each song accompanying each essay in a cappella which was such a great treat!
