Saw a random reel on this book and got intrigued. This is the perfect read if you don't have much time for those thick books :D It's a spicy romcom, so a happy ending is guaranteed.
The language density is very low, so it's easy to follow. The only thing that was a little bit too much for me personally, because I know there are readers that will disagree with me, is the "I-know-it's-on-the-nose-Halloween-but-I'm-still-going-to-use-it-repeatedly". On the other hand, the fall-y, Halloween vibes are very cozy. Maybe too much pumpkin flavored everything, but still cozy. Think Sabrina the Teenage Witch living in a Victorian mansion with her familiar accidentally being a hot demon.
Ok, one other thing I found annoying at times, is how naive the FMC sometimes is.
