“I’d love every version of you. I’d love the young version of you. I’d love the current version, and I’d love the gray-hair version, because loving you doesn’t take time. Loving you just is.”
This was my 1st book by Brittainy Cherry. She pulled at my heartstrings so effortlessly.
The grief & healing romance trope is slowly starting to become one my favorites. The characters are lovable, the circumstances are believable and the love story is so sweet. The romance reminded me of Love & Basketball from their houses being right next to each other to growing up as kids into teens in a enemies to lovers story. BC did a great job at swapping back and forth from past to present then between both the FMC and MMC.
Although this was an extremely emotional snd vulnerable read (check TWs). This is a book that I would reread and recommend.
