Beauty: A Retelling of the Story of Beauty and the Beast by Robin McKinley

This version of the tale is more understanding of Beauty and her family. Her sisters are more as I always wanted to see them - kind, loving, but defenseless. It took much longer to get to the Beast's role than I'd hoped, but I suppose that's why it's called Beauty.
