Ten Steps to Nanette: A Memoir Situation
by Hannah Gadsby
I watched Nanette on Netflix before I read this, which was a helpful thing to do. I can recommend Gadsby's standup specials, and if you don't like those, you probably won't like this memoir. But I did. And I did not have the reaction that I sometimes have to memoirs, which is that by the time I am done, I am really sick of the person who wrote it.
On a personal note, reading this helped me understand one of my children a whole lot better.
