SJ has done it again with another amazing story in this series! Dom is my new favorite in the series (sorry King) and I can't express enough how hot, steamy, and badass Dom is when it comes to protecting what's his.
Valentine has had a rough time throughout her life and when she thinks she has found the perfect guy to help heal those wounds she finds out it wasn't real. Even though she seems vulnerable, she fights for what she wants and gives Dom a run for his money.
The twists and turns and roller coaster of emotions this story takes you on will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end. If you love mafia romance, forced proximity, and age gap then you don't want to miss out on this book! I'm very intrigued by the next book in the series.
