Look, I love pretty much anything Neil Gaiman puts into this world. His writing style and the jokes he makes are probably my favorite of any author, ever. Is this my fave of his? No. Will I read it again? No. But did it make me giggle and entertain me? Yes. Richard is a bit of a one note player compared to what I know he can do with characters, and it just didn’t engage me as much as I wanted. But a lackluster Neil Gaiman book is still better than most, so there’s that.
