This was such a fun book, and the setting was my favorite. Izzy and Lilian were both great characters, and I would love to be their friend. I really enjoyed how the reality competition worked so that we didn't get stuck with the same setting the entire book.

When you have two authors, sometimes the writing can feel very disjointed. However I never felt this way with this book. The voices between the different POV's still felt different from one another while still sticking to the same writing style.

The only critique I have is that all of the side characters were so one dimensional. I'm not sure if that was a writing choice or not, but it didn't work for me. The main characters were well developed at least, so I am not too upset about it.

In the end this is a wonderful story about two imperfect women who still manage to communicate wonderfully (for the most part) and treat each other with respect and kindness.
