I picked this on a whim from net galley because the cover was absolutely gorgeous. and so is what's inside.
this is my first silent graphic novel and, besides my ok rating, I liked it. but, when words fail, image has to prevail. and at times I felt like there was some images missing between actions, to get the full extent of the moments of the story (which I'm not sure I completely did). but the art is gorgeous: the use of colour and black and white is so perfectly explored. will pick more titles from the author.
