The School Is Alive! by Jack Chabert
5.0
This was a good introduction to the Eerie Elementary series. I wanted to read this book, as there was some inspiration taken from the children's series, Goosebumps.
I thought this book was well-written and very entertaining. It was spooky, but also very humorous, which I think is important when introducing children to scary books. The author did a wonderful job at creating characters and a plot line that is friendly to any reader, regardless of age. The illustrations were also great for a children's book, which was another reason why I enjoyed it so much.
