2016 review:
It was a lot better than I expected it to be. Sure it is racist as well as sexist, but the story-line is really good. I was really surprised about the depth of the story. For example D'Arnot is a really nice character, who is completely omitted from the story in Disney's Tarzan. I'm almost motivated to read the sequel but I've heard that it's rather disappointing so I don't think I will read it. Especially because there are 22 of them.
