This guy tried to say Ibsen stole his female characters? Ibsen at least liked women. Read the Neil LaBute adaptation and this play is nonsensical in the Jazz Age. Worse than the characters being vile, they didn’t make any sense. No ones motivations were actually clear at all. Everyone goes from being a pure villain to a pure saint in a matter of seconds.
