no one come after me for this but i think i liked this more than mistborn 🫣

i am back with an absolute banger ‼️ i must admit i was initially very skeptical about this book—would it truly live up to the hype, and meet my own standards that were skyrocketed by mistborn?

well, let me tell you.

firstly, this book is HUGE. and by huge i mean like, 1000+ pages long. it might seem daunting at first, but the plot is so invigorating, so gripping, that i didn’t even feel it. also the magic system (or should i say systems?) in this book is out of this world—as to be expected from brandon sanderson lol.

what truly made this book special for me were the characters tho. i grew to cherish literally all of them, but here are the ones that have a special place in my heart:
  1. kaladin: obvious choice considering the entire book is centered around him but i LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!
  2. dalinar: he’s everything a man should be ngl
  3. shallan: idk why she’s so hated bc she’s literally so cool????
  4. jasnah: on the outside she appears cold and distant but she really has a heart of gold tbh
  5. wit: HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAJAHAHAHAHAHA
honorary mention: sylph and the entirety of bridge four <3
