Watch Where They Hide by Tamron Hall

4.0

After Marla drops her child off at preschool, she disappears.
Marla Hancock recently left her verbally abusive Husband and is now staying with her sister Shelly until she can get back on her feet.

When Shelly calls the local police to report Marla is missing, Shelly feels that Marla’s missing person case is not getting the attention it deserves.  After several weeks of Marla missing, Shelly can’t just sit by and let this case go cold. That is when Shelly calls on investigative reporter Jordan Manning.

Jordan Manning is a well-developed main character and I love how the author makes you feel that you are side by side with Jordan during the investigation. There are some interesting issues including race, wealth and politics of being an investigative reporter.

This is the second book in the Jordan Manning series.  I did read As the Wicked Watch and loved them both. You can read either book as a stand-alone.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, Tamron Hall and the publisher, William Morrow, for the opportunity to read and review an advanced reader's copy of this book.
